when boredom hits...

sometimes i get quite bored of things and then let them sit until i become interested again. well, thats whats happened with this blog of late. i have been busy working three jobs and haven't had the motivation (or time) to upload pretty pictures. i actually haven't been that inspired of late. but, i'm back. and, as you may have noticed, i've changed the layout of the page slightly. i want to post more, and include more pictures of the things i like. but i'd like feedback too. what would you like to see on this blog?

the similarity of today's music, i once declared to my boyfriend, ross, that i would never listen to anything released after 1977. of course, this promise never actually eventuated and it if hadn't, i most definitely couldn't listen to the stone roses, but i love the music from the '60s and '70s. and it's kind of my trivial strong point. so, i can't wait to track this book down and flick through the images. its called new york in the 70s and its described as featuring 'a melting pot of personalities from street gangs and disco divas to political activists and hollywood stars.' i'm sure it will help me understand the times of when some of my favourite songs were released.
